Michael Collora was a panelist for the BBA seminar, The Anatomy of FX: Understanding the Economic Evolution in the Global Foreign Exchange Market and its Implications on Recent Legal Activity. Michael discussed the expanding, litigious set of investors underlying recent cases involving the foreign exchange market. The seminar was sponsored by the BBA’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation Committee.

The Hon. Christopher J. Armstrong (Ret.) and Thomas J. Carey, Jr. were among the faculty for the Massachusetts Bar Association’s CLE Program entitled, Final Directives: Medical and Legal Perspectives on Death and Dying. The program explored the legal considerations relating to treatment decisions at the end-of-life, including Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders, living wills, health care proxies and cessation of artificial support systems. The panel provided guidance on who can and should be empowered to make end-of-life treatment decisions and how to manage ethical and legal challenges that can sometimes arise from these decisions.
